Currently hiring a Seitan Maker

We’re seeking a part-time teammate to help make our packaged seitan products. This person would ideally have strong communication skills and be detail-oriented. We are a very small team (2-3 people) and value respect, cleanliness, safety, quality control and collaboration in each of our team members.

Compensation

• competitive wages depending on experience
• available raises based on performance
• expected 12-18 hours a week (Wed & Thurs shifts 7:30a-3:30p)

 

Primary Responsibilities

• operate machinery to mix, bake, fry and flash freeze ingredients 
• monitor production processes for quality, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards
• Inspect finished products for compliance with quality standards
• package, label, and seal products in accordance with company specifications and regulatory requirements
• clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and containers to guarantee food safety
• record production data for batches of food to ensure traceability
• coordinate with other team members to manage supplies and inventory

 

Requirements

• must be 18+ years of age
• experience in food production is a plus, but not required
• must be authorized to work in the United States
• must be available for regular shifts on Wed & Thurs
• must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 4-6 hours at a time
