COVID-19 Updates

As of June 2021, Bartleby's has returned to operating Bartleby's Seitan Stand (our food truck) and offering local catering. Our online Seitan Shop has remained open, including the entire line of frozen seitan products, official devil merchandise, and gift cards.

Our shared kitchen, at the Arkansas Food Innovation Center, has strict policies in place and performs contact tracing for anyone renting the space. We wear masks while preparing, cooking, and packaging our products; routinely sanitize all tools and surfaces before and after production; and, of course, comply with recommendations for washing hands and wearing gloves.

Our Truck Teamsters (staff on the food truck) all wear masks, regardless of vaccination status. No one is allowed to work if they display symptoms of the virus, and are required to get tested. Staff must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, and be completely free of symptoms, before returning to work.

Our customers (that's you!) are encouraged to wear masks while patronizing Bartleby's Seitan Stand, regardless of vaccination status. Customers are encouraged to practice social distancing while waiting in line.

We provide hand sanitizer at the truck counter for all patrons. Bartleby's staff has strict protocols for sanitizing all work surfaces and high-touch areas. This is a food safety standard, but especially important during these pandemic times.

Bartleby's is a certified SERVSAFE food protection managed business, and has completed its certification in Food Allergen Awareness training.
